About me
My name is Judah Schochet and I am the founder of JS Counseling and Associates.
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for over 10 years. I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University in 2009. I have worked in multiple modalities from mental health clinics, to psychiatric centers, to day treatment programs, to addiction treatment centers and served as the Director of Clinical Operations and Clinical Director from 2017-2023 at Onward Living, Hybrid Sober Living. My areas of expertise include working with those who struggle with Addiction, Anxiety, Depression and Mental health “Failure to Launch”, premarital and marital issues. I am committed to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for our clients. I understand that each person and family have unique needs, and the goal is to provide tailored treatment plans in order to help you and/or family reach their desired outcomes.
I understand that taking the first step and seeking help can be difficult, and I strive to make services accessible to all. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments, as well as a sliding fee scale to make the services more accessible to those in need.
